The Tennessee Recycling Coalition is proud to present the 2017 Workshop Series. The workshop series is planned and organized in partnership with RRS (Resource Recycling Systems). The first of four workshops in the series is sponsored by the Foodservice Packaging Institute, and will take place in Chattanooga, TN on June 1, 2017. Please join us if you can, and tune in here as additional workshops are added throughout the year across the great state of Tennessee.

Workshop #1

Best Practices for Adding New Materials

Have you been tasked to add a new material to your recycling program? Many communities these days are adding an item for collection because of newly advanced technology, product packaging changes, market demand, or goals of higher recycling rates. Come to the workshop to explore opportunities and discuss industry best practices for adding materials to your recycling program. We will share resources and lessons learned to assist you with continued recycling program development.

In addition, following the information session, participants will have a choice to tour the WestRock MRF or paper mill (paper mill tour is limited to 15). Join us!  Click here to register today!
